We didn’t want to leave Olea Hotel! Bryce and I were squeezing every second out of our stay, as it was the perfect combination of modern and homey. The thoughtful amenities they provide their guests made us feel so warm and welcomed.
Let’s start with some “extras” – The things that they certainly don’t have to offer their guests, yet are so appreciated and make the experience one of a kind! First, they offer their guests a complimentary happy hour with local wines. They have three bottles in the lobby and you’re able to enjoy it on their beautiful patio! It was such a peaceful escape and we loved it so much! We thought this was such a thoughtful thing to offer as guests are winding down for the night.
They also offer their guests a COMPLIMENTARY two-course, gourmet breakfast! Bryce and I were in awe. Is this real life? We truly felt like we were on a luxurious retreat. Breakfast is a huge deal for us while we travel, as it starts our day on the right foot! This was by far the best breakfast we had during our 5-day trip!
Along with that, they have an entire wall dedicated to resources and information about the area. We grabbed a handful and actually decided which wineries to visit based on the information they provided! We found some great deals for tastings, and we wouldn’t have known about them if it weren’t for their help!
Now on to the room experience. It was simply awesome. Although it was a walk-in room with our door facing the parking lot, it felt super private and was completely silent at night! The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the sheets were so soft. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxed stay – A Brita for fresh water, a charging deck for all of our devices and the heated floors in the bathroom were a definite bonus! We felt right at home.
Bryce and I still reminisce about this stay. If you’re in the Sonoma area and are looking for a place to call home for a weekend, you MUST choose Olea Hotel! The overall experience here was so memorable and we know you’ll love it as much as we did!
xx,
Becca
