Hey friends!
I just had the most epic week with Utopian Luxury Vacation Homes in Park City, Utah and I’m so excited to share it with you! There’s something so memorable about experiencing things for the first time, and this trip was filled with them. Visiting Utah, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, exploring Park City and living in a luxury vacation home – I didn’t want the week to end!
When we pulled up to our Utopian Luxury Vacation Home I was instantly blown away by the modern architecture and the endless windows. The house sits right by Park City Mountain Resort in White Pine Canyon – The views from the living room look like a painting. The house is located in The Colony – A gated community of stunning estates sprinkled across the canyon. Every home in this community has the “wow” factor, so it’s incredible to simply drive around and enjoy the views!
When we took our initial house tour I couldn’t stop taking pictures – Every corner was a photo opportunity (a blogger’s dream!). Here’s where we stayed! There are six bedroom suites, each with their own bathroom. We were living so comfortably! This would be the perfect location for a retreat or a family reunion – The vaulted ceilings and open floor plan make this house the ultimate venue for hosting a large group.
Your kids can come, too! The basement makes this house kid friendly! There’s playstation, a pool table, a foosball table, a flat screen TV, a heated pool and a couple of the rooms come with bunk beds. Talk about a killer sleepover!
There were three key amenities that made this house the coolest one I’ve ever stayed in –
1.) Ski-In, Ski-Out: The house sat right beside a ski route, so you can literally put on your skis and hit the slopes right outside the door! How cool is that? The house came equipped with a massive mudroom to place your gear before entering the home, too!
2.) Heated floors: I know this might seem silly, yet these heated floors were a game changer! They made the massive home feel cozy and warm. We couldn’t stop raving over this amenity!
3.) Heated Pool and Jacuzzi: When I think of a mountain home I don’t think of swimming, yet with the pool over 80 degrees it was SO fun to take a dip amidst the wild trees. I could’ve spent an entire afternoon out there!
Places To Eat
High West Distillery and Saloon: This was such an awesome place to grab a drink and a bite to eat! Their hardy meals will be sure to fill you up after a day on the slopes. I ordered their onion soup with some chicken fingers and loved them both!
501 on Main: Any restaurant on Main is going to be cute and quaint! We ate upstairs and were SO hungry after a long day of adventures! I had the BBC Burger and it was delicious!
No Name Saloon: This was a crowd favorite, as it was the busiest place we ate! They have TV’s on every wall, so if there’s a big game on this is your place. I ordered their soup of the day (it comes in a sourdough bowl) and was completely satisfied. Yum!
The Mustang: I was so impressed with this restaurant! This is a popular choice, and during Sundance we’re told this is where all the famous people eat. They must like to eat well, because the food options are incredible! We had a full course meal and taste-tested a variety of plates. The Local Red Trout is a MUST! It comes served with asparagus and mashed potatoes – The perfect combination! Then for desert go with the Hot Berry Cobbler. It’ll leave you wanting to come back for more!
Things to Do
Snowmobiling: I had never been snowmobiling before and was so excited to hit the trails! We adventured with Red Pine Adventures and they did an incredible job leading us. They took us to both wide and narrow trails through the forest and meadows – The views made me feel like we were in Narnia. They also led us to this big hill where we were supposed to go down neutral (no gas, no break) and it felt like we were sledding! It was a thrill. I highly suggest doing this when you visit Park City!
Snowshoeing: This was SO FUN! I went into this activity thinking we were going to have tennis-racket-looking-shoes on our feet, walking cross country.. I was so wrong! The snowshoes aren’t bulky, and simply helped with our grip as we hiked. The views were incredible and so rewarding! If you like hiking, you will LOVE this! We hit the trails with All Seasons Adventures and I would definitely recommend booking with them!
Thanks SO much to the team at Utopian Luxury Vacation Homes for this unforgettable experience! I’ll definitely be back soon!!
xx – Bec
